3. Breeding egg moves

Now you have your Female Pokemon with the right ability and the right nature, now it's on to the egg moves. For this guide I will be using Charmander as my example.

Serebii - Charmander

I like the Ability Solar power better than Blaze so lets say we have chosen its Hidden Ability (HA). I am gonna use him as a special attacker and so the nature will be either Timid (more speed) or Modest (more special attack).

On the Serebii link I shared you can scroll down to egg moves and see what egg moves are available. I am going to choose the moves mostly used when breeding a Charmander.

Special Attacker:
1. Dragon Pulse
2. Ancient Power

Go to the egg move Dragon Pulse and click on details.

Here you will see a list of all the parents that can learn the move either by leveling or breeding. So the easiest way is to see if you have one of the Pokemon that learn it by leveling. I think Swablu is easy to get in either ORAS and XY, so we will go and search for a male one. Click on the link below to see on what route you can catch Swablu.

On the above link you can find the info on Swablu and you can see that it learns Dragon Pulse at level 42. Once you get your male Swablu level it to 42 and go to the daycare.The female Charmander with the right nature (Timid/Modest) and ability you will give the everstone. Put them together in the daycare. Ride around on your bike till you get 5 eggs and then you can either ride around there or fly to a place where you can ride around easy (in XY I always fly to Lumiose city center so you can easy ride around the gym there).

Activate your hatching o power if you have it and wait till the 5 eggs hatch. Now check the Pokemon, you will need a female Charmander with the right nature, ability and Dragon Pulse. If you don't have that go back and get 5 more eggs until you do get it.

Serebii - Ancient Power egg move

All Pokemon in this section are fossil Pokemon so you either can get one via a friend, wonder trade or find the fossil and revive it. I'm gonna pick the Cranidos and here you can find his fossil.

If you wondertrade a lot you might get lucky and get one, so I think he can be easy to get. Get a male one and level it up to 33 and then it will learn Ancient Power.

Now you take the Pokemon out of the day care and take the female Charmander with the right ability, nature and Dragon pulse and give it the everstone. Put it in daycare with the male Cranidos with Ancient power and breed it again like I said before. Only now you will need 2 egg moves, the right ability, nature and if you wanna have more egg moves the Charmander needs to be female.

You can continue this process until you have 4 egg moves.

Physical attacker Charmander egg moves:

Nature for the physical attacker either Jolly (more speed) or Adamant (more attack).
